Voting opens today for the Almond Board of California’s Board of Directors election.
Industry members will cast their votes to fill two independent grower seats and two independent handler seats. The ballot also includes alternates for both grower seats and one handler seat.
The voting period runs through May 22, and ballots must be received by this date. Results will be announced June 2. The new board will begin Aug. 1.

Due to the Independent Handler Position 1 being prematurely vacated, there is only one year remaining on this typically three-year seat. The elected member will serve only the remainder of the term, and the seat will be up for election again in 2026.
